Sport Tourism Economic Impact Study
Having hosted a half marathon in Jasper, Alberta for 5 years, we have begun to compile reference information on participants to determine the economic benefits. We are seeking assistance to determine the economic impact from this event, and utilize this information to create a 'sponsorship deck' to promote hosting of sporting events within our umbrella of races.

Brand Identity and Graphic Design
Our organization needs some updated branding and graphic design help! We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand. This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. This project may combine research, data analysis, graphic design w/ Sketch or Adobe XD, prototyping, one-page creations and more! We believe this project will require: Research to define our unique brand position and create consistent promotional messaging Logo and/or Name Proposal that highlights brand awareness and brand positioning A branding guide Using tools like illustrator and Adobe inDesign to design prototypes that can be implemented into our marketing collateral We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can also suggest names of competitors and comparators to research.
Virtual Internship Opportunity: Research
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (1 | 2 | 3) students or teams. I host an even in Jasper, the Jasper Canadian rockies Half Marathon, each April. This years event was cancelled due to covid. As we had to cancel within 3 weeks of the event, we were unable to provide refunds/credits/rollovers to our participants. Many were fine with it, but there was a very vocal group that were not. The primary focus for the student will be: To review the negativity and find a way to 'win back' those participants, plus market the 2021 event beyond the current base of athletes.
