MacEwan University Sport and Wellness is a recreation facility in downtown Edmonton. Our accredited fitness and aquatic facility host a large fitness area featuring two drop weight areas, half racks, Olympic lifting platforms, strength, and cardio machines; a six-lane 25-metre pool with teach area and a 40-person hot tub; a three-court gymnasium; steam rooms; and fitness and spin studios. Our mission is inspiring and enabling MacEwan students, faculty, staff and public to achieve their health and lifestyle goals.

Summer Camps Program Development Plan - Phase 1
Develop and implement a summer camp program development plan for MacEwan University Sport and Wellness Recreation and Aquatics Camps, Summer 2023.
Phase 1: SEO and Social Media Content Creation
We are looking for a digital marketing student passionate about fitness to help us drive online and social traffic. We want to improve our SEO positioning, plus help creating content on Instagram and Facebook, possibly TikTok. The successful candidate will also help establish a social influencer network. All content will align with our vision and mission. Keyword and phrase analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization. A document to outline Search Engine Optimization (SEO) requirements to improve our rankings on Google and other platforms. Content Review of previous and upcoming posts. Content Creation: Capture videos to accompany planned posts to increase reach and engagement. Create new unique content. Evaluate recent successful campaigns, preferably in our sector and develop a strategy to best utilize TikTok to help tell our brand story. Social Influencer: Assist in setting up an influencer network of MacEwan students.
