PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Re_Generation aims to re_imagine our schools, re_purpose our careers, and re_model our companies to be aligned with regenerative principles. We created Canada’s largest platform to empower youth in sustainability and social impact. It is crucial to ensure that our resources are made accessible to most of Canada's young people. This is why we want to have enough strategic outreach to share these resources to impact as many people as possible and empower the next generation of leaders to shape the future they want to be part of.

Business & Economics Education - curriculum change & student empowerment

It includes a self-assessment guide, 60+ career path interviews with industry leaders, 10+ sectoral guides to understand the key trends and opportunities of various sectors & industries, and a job board page that includes the most extensive mapping of places to get an internship in social impact & sustainability. We also have very comprehensive toolkits to empower students by sharing best practices on how to organize student events on sustainability & how to drive curriculum change. So far, close to 10,000 unique website visitors have used our resources. We want to continue building and improving this resource center!

Capitalizing Indigenous Entrepreneurs
The main goal of this project is to research and develop new social finance instruments for Indigenous Entrepreneurs. This will involve talking with Indigenous entrepreneurs, capital providers, and ecosystem actors to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities. The project also involves researching existing social finance instruments and traditional ones. These new instruments will complement, leverage, and/or improve, not compete with or replace, existing capital providers. These new instruments will also be culturally appropriate, not harm entrepreneurs, nor bind them into colonial ways of oppression that dominates the existing capital system – like traditional loans or equity.
