Bio

Watching my parents struggle financially to raise a family with 9 children, I knew, from a young age, that education and personal development was the key to financial freedom. Itโ€™s a lesson thatโ€™s served me well, and that I continue to pass on to others as an educator and entrepreneur.

I arrived in Canada from Hong Kong in 1980 and started my career in the financial industry. I founded a successful networking group in 1998 that is now in its second decade in existence.

My drive resulted in the birth of a mental mathematics-based child learning center in 2010. When the lockdowns from COVID-19 began, I pivoted the learning center to an online virtual classroom (Easy Math for Kids). I have formed an Education Advisory Board in 2021, and began the development of an online system to deliver our mental math curriculum for K-8. My vision is to deliver high quality, affordable and accessible education to children around the world.
