Fundraising coordinator
Fundraising Coordinator will work with the Fundraising Development team to identify, research, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate and foundation gifts to support the mission of Autism Speaks Canada. The Fundraising Development department plays an integral role in contributing to ASC fundraising efforts in Autism Speaks Canada seeks an intern to join us to support the work of our development team. The fundraising development team manages all grants, major gifts, and corporate development fundraising efforts for Autism Speaks Canada, from identifying new prospective donors to cultivating and stewarding current donors. As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will support and gain experience in the day-to-day operations of non-profit fundraising, including donor and funder meeting preparation, prospect research, database, and donor pipeline management. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, excellent attention to detail, takes initiative, is interested in learning about non-profit development, and has a passion for inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. You will report to the Senior Manager, Philanthropy. As an integral member of the Development team, you will support development team led projects, and self-led projects throughout your time as a valued team member of the ASC team.
Database assistant
Autism Speaks Canada is a national Canadian charitable organization whose vision is to create inclusive communities where autistic Canadians can reach their full potential. The Database assistant will help keep our constituent database clean and functional. Reporting to Donor Database Manager, the Database Assistant provides support with database updates to assist with tracking various fundraising related activities in the database. This role is a key in supporting other database activities to analyze the data of active and past campaigns to continually update and improve results. This role also supports the data team with importing new records and cross-referencing database records against paper/spreadsheet records to reconcile donor/event participant data at the end of an event.
Community Events Coordinator
This position reports into the National Director & Managers, Community Events. In this capacity you will be responsible for supporting campaign elements to support the launch our new gaming initiative Game On . Responsibilities will include sourcing sponsorships, gamers and streamers and working with Marketing to support implementation of confirmed activities. You may be called upon to support other community campaigns such as the Walk and bubly Smile Stand as required. Knowledge and experience within the gaming community is an asset.
