The main objective of the HR Manager position at Wouessi Inc. is to strategically lead and manage human resources activities to support the company's mission and vision. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies and policies, overseeing talent acquisition and performance management processes, fostering employee engagement and organizational culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and driving initiatives for learning and development.


Description of the Problem or Outcome:

The HR Manager will be tasked with addressing various challenges and opportunities within the human resources function to drive organizational success. Some of the key problems to solve and outcomes to achieve by the end of the project include:


  1. Talent Acquisition: Ensuring the recruitment and retention of top talent to support the company's growth and innovation objectives. This involves identifying staffing needs, developing recruitment strategies, and attracting diverse candidates who align with the company culture and values.
  2. Performance Management: Implementing effective performance management systems and processes to drive employee development and engagement. This includes setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating career growth opportunities.
  3. Organizational Development: Driving initiatives for organizational effectiveness and change management to adapt to evolving business needs and market dynamics.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and liabilities. This involves staying updated on relevant legislation, implementing HR policies and procedures, and conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to legal requirements.

Mentorship

To ensure the success of learners in completing the HR Manager project at Wouessi Inc., we will provide comprehensive support and mentorship throughout the project duration. Here's how we will support learners:


  1. Dedicated Mentorship: Each learner will be assigned a dedicated mentor who is an experienced HR professional within our organization. The mentor will provide guidance, feedback, and support to learners throughout the project.

  4. Microsoft Office Suite: Learners will have access to Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes.
