Areas of inquiry include psychology, atypical development, language, social cognition, and psychological evaluation.
Students will work closely with the primary investigator. Students will provide written progress reports and receive feedback from the primary investigator. Students will be asked to attend team meetings/individual meetings to provide verbal reports, receive project updates.
The project may include, but is not limited to:
- Responsible for complex data collection, manipulation, and data storage.
- Supports the project/study by surveying literature and using existing tools to extract and generate data.
- Conducting literature reviews and contribute to the development of ongoing research initiatives
- Maintaining records and progress reports
- Evaluating and synthesizing empirical works to address research questions
- Develop comprehensive coding manuals
- Analyze and report on data
- Develop knowledge transfer initiatives
Students will be trained to conduct research and use software to meet research initiatives. Students will receive feedback on work product. Students will encouraged to set and meet personal goals throughout the project.
Students will meet with project team during team meetings and have individual check-ins - students should assume several virtual meetings will occur throughout the project
