Working with Zymonetics has been one of the most eye-opening experiences in my understanding of healthcare, not just in terms of AI but in the broader landscape of health policy, preventative medicine, and the future of care models in Canada. At first, diving into such complex topics—like the role of comorbidities in healthcare costs, the long-term financial benefits of preventative care, and the integration of different technologies—felt overwhelming. However, the way these concepts were broken down made them not only digestible but also highly engaging.
One of the most valuable aspects of this experience has been exploring the shortcomings of the current Canadian healthcare system and analyzing alternative models that could drive better patient outcomes and cost efficiency. Discussions around innovative approaches, from AI-driven diagnostics to strategic partnerships in healthcare delivery, have been incredibly insightful. Rather than just focusing on surface-level issues, Zymonetics has encouraged deep, critical thinking about systemic flaws and potential solutions.
I appreciate how this experience has pushed me to think beyond theory and into application—how policies translate into real-world impact, how strategic partnerships can drive innovation, and how different players in the healthcare system (clinicians, vendors, policymakers) need to align for real change. Tesla is definitely a leader in Female entrepreneurship and Health and has been an inspiration for a WOC like me.
